This morning when we got up we went to the farmers market which is on the Halifax waterfront. Because it was Saturday morning there were lots of vendors and lots of produce.
After the Farmers Market we waited for the fog to clear and for the convenience store to open (to buy a bigger carton of milk) and for a map store to open (I still need the cruising guide to New England.)
Rats, the Map store didn’t have the guide I needed. We’ll have to check in the next big town.
It was after 10 when we untied and got underway.
The passage was calm and other then a few seals and a whale in the distance we didn’t see much.
When I called Lunenburg regarding dockage they had advised me they had none, therefore we changed course to La Have.
Fog set in so we slowed and turned on the radar.
When we arrived we tied to a dock at the bakery for the night.
After tying up we of course went to the bakery and got treats. Then we had showers and had dinner.
We walked up the street before bed.
It was a cute little town. They have a ferry running from here to the other side of the river which runs on a cable which is submerged under the water.
We enjoyed a very pretty sunset.
Thanks for following.
