Well, I do the same thing I did at my house. Not much. I’m not one to do many things in general and being on a boat isn’t gonna change that.
What I do with a lot of time is sleep. I guess I don’t sleep 24/7 so I’m gonna have to tell you what I do with the other hours of my day.
One thing I do on my spare time is read books. At the moment I don’t really have any on the go because I just finished a story and now my mom is reading it to everyone else so I need to wait for them to finish to trade it in for a new book at a marina. The book was called The Law of Nines by the way, and it was quite cool. We found an unedited version which means the author could have changed some things before the final version. Something weird that happened was after reading the book my aunt -who has never read the book- finished a drawing of ten trees… But I couldn’t figure out which one needed to be removed. [ That won’t make sense unless you read the book. >:) ]
Something else that I do in my free time is make little rope bracelets for my mom to put on her ankle. We brought a bunch of different colours on the boat so that will probably last me the whole summer.
A lot of the time I draw in my notebook or on Sketchbook on my iPad. I usually make up characters with backstories and then never use those characters again. Like recently I made up a whole village worth of people and gave them a reason in their world. I was thinking “I could make this into a story or comic or something and that would be cool!” then a few hours later I was already on a new idea. It’s just a habit I have, but I guess I would be a pretty good character designer or whatever they’re called.
One other thing I do in my spare time is eat food. Not much of the time. But I do. Food is good.
Most of the time during any of the mentioned things, we have music playing on the boat so I also listen to music.
I think that’s about everything I do with my spare time on the boat. As I said, not much, but it keeps me occupied and that’s all I really need it to accomplish.
